Help us fluff the Clown Police!
The CP care for all of us! That’s why we want to give something back: We are going to do a daily drop of important fluff stuff to the CP HQ. Hot tea & coffee, vegan snacks & hugs… we need your ♥hearts♥ here at the S.L.A.C.K. Page on the Borderland Dreams platform to make this happen.
Full description of the concept
The Clown Police (see http://wiki.theborderland.se/The_Clown_Police) are The Borderland participants who volunteer to take over long shifts to take care of the safety of the community. We’ve watched them last year freezing their pretty tushies off, working in a leaking tent, often too busy to take a break. That´s why we want to ensure they stay motivated und show our support and gratefulness for taking over that important & difficult task.
The final form of S.L.A.C.K. is yet to be decided, whether it will be a cart or a vendor’s tray or an air dropping surprise package: our main goal with S.L.A.C.K. is to cherish the amazing job done by the volunteers and to shower them with love for fulfilling their important tasks for the sake of all of us. We need a small grant for building the base of our cart and to fill it with lots of fluff stuff to energize the Clowns on duty. And since the way to everyone’s heart goes through the stomach we would like to provide them with enough hot beverages and munchies to stay happy the entire week!
We are also in contact with 2018s Clown Police organizers Linus and Hanna and want to help pimping the headquarters tent in order to make it the most amazing relax zone before and after a Clowns shift.

We are applying for consumables since drinks and snacks are an integral part of fluffing the Clown Police! No one ever is happy when thirsty and hungry…For our camp members itself none of these items will be used, only for Clowns before, during and after their shifts! The Dreamer´s Manual says: “The experience cannot be exclusive to a defined group, it must be offered to any participant at Borderland.” Since any participant can and should join the Clown Police our dream is offered to everyone!

- Will there be light? probably on S.L.A.C.K. as decoration
- Safety implications basic food safety: hot tea is hot and we will label everything, nothing very tragic 🙂
